Apart from visiting Canada to see my friends, here is one place in the world I would like to see. The Cano Cristales river located in Sierra de la Macarena is just like any other river for most of the year. But in between Columbia's wet and dry season when the water is just the right speed and height there is a unique biological explosion of colour caused by the algae at the bottom of the river bed. It is referred to as the worlds most beautiful river.
